India Shopping - Delhi [Part One]

Shopping in India is really a weird experience, I must say but it's also fun. Last month I went for fifteen days tour to India. I boarded my flight at NYC. I was really excited to see India. I have a heard a lot about India, both positive and negative. But have never been there. I was always eager to see the one of the world's wonder -TajMahal, the symbol of love. I was also planing to see many places I have heard of, mainly place os archeological importance. I landed at New Delhi, the capital of the country. There is famous street called Ajmal Khan Street. It's one of longest street shopping place I have ever seen. Yeah, it's nearly 3 kilo meters long. And on either side of the road is full of shops snd locals were swarming the place. They sell a lot of things right from kerchiefs to USB. But i learned from my tour guide that I must be very careful in these places as the have double standards for Indians and foreigners. Actually, if the price of a carpet is 250 INR, they 'll say 2500INR. Worse if your transaction is going to be in dollars..
